With a combined 82 years’ experience of working within the construction industry, our expert team are the best of the best at what they do.

We specialise in work from full road/driveway construction to patch works and drainage.

We are a family run organisation that works with our community to support each other to grow and progress. We are sustainability and environmentally conscious, making changes to our everyday works to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

Julian Williams

CEO

Julian is the founder and director of JD Tarmac. He has been working in the industry since he was 13 years old and that vast amount of knowledge has built a very reputable organisation. His hands-on leadership sees him working on site alongside our workers as well as meeting current and new clients. Julian is at the forefront of the JD Tarmac enterprise, he is a keen leader, a dedicated worker and an empowering director.

Carline Jones

Managing Director

Carline has 13 years’ experience of working within the finance sector of the construction industry, her vast knowledge and leadership skills push JD Tarmac to new heights with each new year. She is one of the founding office staff members and has shaped JD Tarmac to what it is today. Even though she is a freelance accountant she is one of the major cogs in the workings of JD Tarmac’s everyday working life. Carline’s role is that of finance manager and senior office manager.

Michael Watkins

Contract Manager

Mike has come from a varied background of construction from bricklaying to laying asphalt, his experience and skills have proven him to be an extremely knowledgeable contracts manager who is able to give on site advice to our customers. He has a drive for continuous professional development which has set a culture of learning and improvement within our organisation. Mike’s role is one of site and contracts manager, he organises jobs and the workers required for each project.

Kat Jones

Admin and Document Control

Kat has over 20 years’ experience of customer interaction, her charming personality invites and relaxes clients so that they have the best experience while working with JD Tarmac. She has become the hub of information, becoming the go-to for employees and clients alike. She is currently working towards having a more staple role within the admin field and hopes to one day work within the finance department here at JD Tarmac. Kat’s role is reception based, she plans and organises the diaries of all management staff and controls documents going between staff and clients.

Lewis Leach

Qualified estimator

Lewis started at JD Tarmac in 2018, his background in customer services is paramount to his developing role as a trainee quantity surveyor. He fits in seamlessly within our management team and is currently working towards attaining the qualification of Quantity Surveyor while working alongside our contract manager and clients to produce the most effective services possible. Lewis’ role includes meeting clients to discus works, producing quotes and supporting the contracts manager with tenders.
